Luke learns that Noah is staying in Oakdale to attend university. Maddie convinces Noah to call his father. Luke tells Noah how he feels about him.

Noah reacts to Luke's admission and the two discuss their pasts and families. Maddie discusses her relationship with Vienna. Noah asks Maddie to go on a trip with him.

Noah tells Luke about his upcoming trip with Maddie. Gwen invites Noah, Luke, and Maddie to a party.

Luke, Noah, and Maddie attend Gwen's party where she and Will announce they're going to have a baby. Noah, Maddie, and Luke plan to spend the evening at Snyder Pond, but Maddie gets a call from Henry. Noah and Luke arrive at the farm and discuss Noah's family.

Maddie interrupts a close moment between Luke and Noah. Noah asks Maddie to stay in Oakdale with him.

Noah's father shows up in Oakdale to try to convince Noah to join the army. Winston invites Noah and Maddie out to lunch. Luke helps Noah with his tie and the two share their first kiss.

Noah tells Luke that their kiss was a joke and it didn't mean anything. After arriving to lunch with Maddie, Noah asks her to move in with him. Luke tells Maddie that there's something she doesn't know about Noah.

Colonel Mayer interrupts Luke when he tries to tell Maddie about Noah kissing him. Luke covers for Noah when Winston insists on knowing what Noah did to upset Luke.

Winston, Noah, and Maddie see a woman fighting with Dusty at the Lakeview. Noah admits to Luke that he kissed him because he wanted to, but he tells him that nothing else can happen between them because he intends to continue dating Maddie. Noah insists he can "control" his sexuality and be happy with Maddie.

Colonel Mayer meets Henry and Vienna. Holden runs into Luke, Noah, and Maddie and notices the tension between Luke and Noah. Maddie and Noah learn that Cheri Love, the woman they saw arguing with Dusty, was murdered. Noah continues to insist that he can't be gay. Luke tries to encourage Noah to come out and be himself. Maddie walks in on Luke and Noah arguing.
